Bright Shaft provides guided walking tours across various locations in Australia. Our services include but are not limited to half-day tours, full-day tours, private group tours, and multi-day adventures.

Booking and Payment

Reservations

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is only confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us. We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion.

Payment Terms

Full payment is required at the time of booking for standard tours. For private and multi-day tours, a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due 14 days before the tour date.

Pricing

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will be honoured at the price quoted.

We reserve the right to cancel tours due to severe weather conditions, insufficient participant numbers, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Participant Requirements

Fitness and Health

Participants must be in reasonable health and fitness appropriate to the tour difficulty level. You must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect your participation.

Age Requirements

Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Some tours may have minimum age requirements due to difficulty or duration.

Equipment

Participants are responsible for wearing appropriate footwear and clothing as advised. We provide any specialised equipment required for specific tours.

Assumption of Risk

Walking in natural environments involves inherent risks including but not limited to uneven terrain, wildlife encounters, weather changes, and physical exertion. By participating in our tours, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bright Shaft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the tour in question.

Insurance

We recommend that all participants have appropriate travel and personal accident insurance. Our liability coverage does not extend to personal belongings or travel arrangements.

Conduct

Participants must follow the instructions of guides at all times. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour endangers themselves, others, or the environment, without refund.

Environmental Responsibility

All participants must adhere to Leave No Trace principles. Taking plants, animals, or geological specimens is strictly prohibited. All rubbish must be carried out.

Photography and Media

We may take photographs during tours for promotional purposes. By participating, you grant us permission to use such images unless you inform us otherwise in writing before the tour.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Bright Shaft and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

Website Use
